Hi guys, I've try to add SP2 or SP3 into a slipstream OS installer disc for Simplified Chinese XP and Japanese XP, and had no success. I had no problem creating the iso images, burning the ISO to a CD/DVD, installing using the slipstream disks, however the installation of the XP doesn't work at all. I can only boot into safe mode. anytime I am trying to boot into Normal mode, XP would automatically restart at the the Black XP loading page. (I was able to use the Japanese XP SP1 disk to perform a good instillation on the same machine, so lack of 3rd party drivers scenario should not be an issue here.) I need to create a multi-boot system with Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese XP. Some of the Original OS installer disk that i have access to doesn't include any service pack, in order to be able to install on certain machine(Dell 690 or dimension 9100), i have to use a OS installer disk with Service pack integrated. and that's why I have to give nlite a try. Some people on the forum claimed that it should not matter whether you are using the English nlite GUI to create the slipstream disk. To be specific, I have installed nlite on a English XP patition and used English GUI to create the disks. I am wondering if anyone might be able to tell me what I have done wrong? maybe you had the similar issue before, and how did you solve the problem? mind share how you fix the problem? Thanks a lot in advance!
