One more thing that did not work is tcp limit. I run lvlLord Patcher 2.23d and it is telling me the limit is 10 connections. Any ideas?

Also the gradient captions are still on. Should they? The 4th bit is set to 0. Anyone can explain why 28th and 8th bits of UserPreferencesMask are set to 1? My UserPreferencesMask is 90 32 03 80.

Yup, this one. Actually it did make a difference - start menu had the "fade effect" working. It stopped after I unchecked this checkbox. Any ideas? And what about personalized menus?

Lemme guess this was a VMWare installation, huh? See XP doesn't have the drivers for vmware video so it won't display the res you asked. Either that or the same situation with your currernt video card. It was not VMWare but i belive it might have been because I have mobo integrated GeForce6150SE/nForce430. OK. Let's say one is solved.
