  1. The only versions capable of running OCT are Professional Plus and Enterprise volume license versions. MSDN downloads of PP seem to work fine, so I'm wondering if the Technet version is a retail version and not a VL version.

It's ok, I've worked out how to perform automated installs using the Config.xml file. :)

    mind sharing it ?

  2. Hi,

But now I get this when compiling:

well there was a small thing while i copied the code

    make this line

    $PreviousInstallation = RegRead("HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
    Ashampoo Burning Studio 9_is1", "InstallLocation")

    like this

    $PreviousInstallation = RegRead("HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Ashampoo Burning Studio 9_is1", "InstallLocation")

    after the Uninstall\Ashampoo

  4. Thanks for uploading the files...

I have another problem now. Let mee say that i'm using 7 x86.

    this is my sfx package:

But when i run it nothing happen... what do you think?

i don't know if that is the problem

    but in winrar

you don't need the rundll32.exe etc.. line

    in the winrar sfx

    just type the install.inf

  5. Yes thats left over from Windows Defender for scanning/updating, but it still wont scan a single file (wish I knew how the shell extension does this)

well i did a lot of search and it seem that you are correct

none knows how to integrate it with the Messenger or search for one file

i'm searching now if i can find how the shell extension make the it but nothin until now

and it seem that there are a lot of topic requesting that functionality

  6. Doesn't matter. gfhdfghdfh is good also. :)

thanks you but the "#include" is important? because its say Error :

    Error:Cannot parse #include

and if i remove the "#include"

    its say Error:

    If _Singleton("Nullsoft Winamp",1) = 0 Then
    If ^ ERROR

    Error: Unknown function name.

    what is the problem?

    make it #Include <Misc.au3>

    that should fix the problem

    well my tool works on

    Windows Live Messenger

    Windows Live Mail

    Windows Live Photo Gallery

    Windows Live Movie Maker

    Windows Live Writer

    Windows Live Family Safety

and it seems that you didn't install any one of them

    that why it doesn't work

from the log it seems that the cache.ini doesn't have any links

to Windows Live messenger or Mail etc..

you gonna need to reinstall the programs

    from this link here

  9. For the Upcoming version 3.6

this will be the latest version before Wave 4 hits on March

this version will have a few fixes for some error in some strings (Nothin serious)

also if you have the full 138 MB the addon maker will work differently

using only exe file + Commands

    like this

    /q /NOToolbarCEIP /NOhomepage /Nolaunch /nosearch /AppSelect:Installer,Messenger,Mail,PhotoGallery

    and for the Msg Plus

there will be a new addon that have a tutorial on how to add a skin etc .. to it

as making an addon maker of it will require tooo much hard work than it's needed

it will only have a file you add to it

if any one wants any further needs post it in here the version should be ready in a week

or less if i had the time i will be free starting from the next Saturday

so until that i will hear your ideas

thx and i hope you enjoy my tool
