Sorry for this reply, but everytime i need to install a new server (that always need interaction with f6 at the start of the text mode setup) i need to burn a new cdrom with driver inside? With this i lost the "freedoom" of use different sif file in different floppy for many configuration. Why i need to use floppy sif file if i need to reburn cdrom for any different insallation? I think that i not undersand! Thanks in advanced, Massimo

Hi to all and sorry for my english. I install WXP and W2003 with winnt.sif in a floppy drive. This work fine, but at this time i have a server that need 3 different driver installaed with F6 before start the text installation. I have tried to use the f6 key. Installation pause, read the floppy, load the driver, but when it need to copy the file (after formatting) search it in cdrom e not ask me to insert another time the floppy with the driver. Can i insert all necessary file (inf, sys, ...) for all 3 driver in the same floppy of winnt.sif? Can i avoid the f6 key? How i can make this? Thanks in advanced for any help and best regards. Hi to all and sorry for my english. I have totaly personalzed my windows installation with sif file, and other. I have maded many file (dll, hlp, cur), than i have compressed it and copied over the orginal file (i use the equal name of the orginal). How i can avoid warning message during installation that alert that the file is not the correct image and then can cause problem... bla... bla...? If i press esc the file is however copied but i would avoid to pause installation. How i can "authorize" the new file? Thanks in advanced for any help and best regards. Massimo.

Hi prathapml, B) I'm new in "unattended word" but at point to use different language patch!!! I have tried the italian version of the file! After your reply i suppose that not need the dotnetfx file but i need only the KB867460 file because windows 2003 already have .net 1.1 I hope to solve my problem with this. Hi to all and sorry for my english. How suggested in http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/netframework.htm i have tried to install in silent mode the .NET Framework 1.1 Sp1 but obtain an error. After the file extraction install say me: "The current version of .NET Famework is part of operative system e can't be installed or removed with the installation program. Use Windows Update to update .NET Framework. Installation does not continue." (I have tried to traslate correctly from italian) I can upgrade .NET only with windows update? I need another version of dotnetfx file? Thanks in advanced for any help Best Regards, Massimo

Hi to all and sorry for my english. I have created a custom dvd that install WXP pro and other software in silent mode using the $OEM$\$1\install directory in the dvd root. It work fine! With the same step i have made a W2003 Standard Edition CD. All work fine, but the installation not copy the folder in $OEM$\$1\install, and when the winnt.sif file try to run the cmd file, say me that "the file is not found". I look in root of my hdd and not find any folder. Why this? Windows 2003 require different step? Thanks in advanced for any help. Best regards. Massimo
