Last night I tried to re-install XP Pro and forgot that I always get stuck at a certain unsigned driver that requires I use a specific USB mouse to select 'Continue' or else I can not move on. Usually this is not an issue as I have the mouse handy (a wired laptop mouse that $5 from Office Depot a LONG time ago), but this time I could not and still can not find this mouse; and therefore can not get anything else to work (keyboard or mouse). So Windows just sits and waits for input that I can not give. Now I am using nLite to create an Unattended install so this does not happen again. When I get the sound driver, I notice 3 seperate .inf files: 1) AUTORUN.INF 2) EL2000x.inf 3) OEMSETUP.INF In the past, I have always used the 'EL2000x.inf' driver and had the mouse to hit the 'Continue' button, but would the OEMSETUP.INF be better in this situation? I have never figured out the difference and thought I would ask. Thanks.
