You have a USB to Serial port adapter. You need a RS232 serial port adapter logic levels to TTL / CMOS 5V or 3.3V, also.

I bought a CA-42 with 5 wires: black, yellow, red, white and blue. When I connect to a USB port is not recognized by the system so I think that this particular cable is useless, € 35 in the trash. True? Greetings
