  1. Do you have any suggestion as how to merge them? Sorry, but I need a little more instruction to do that. Thanks.
  2. New Computer Name: My son bought the system and it was set up already being either Administrator or Compaq_Administrator. The system restore points didn't work according to the restore report). I ran a recovery process in safe mode (first time recovery of any type was done successfully). The recovery asked for the computer name. I typed in my name, thus generating Compaq_Administrator\Gregory. Now the system shows all three. Data: Each adminstrator has files it may access. Favorites, Music, Documents, Pictures, Programs, etc. They are not all the same. The largest portion are under Administrator account name. I wondered how, without destroying something or loosing access to everything, they could all show under on Admin account. I seem to have all the data still there, just under different admin account names. After updating to Internet Explorer 8, the computer constantly hung up on the application. trying to access the internet. Don't know why. I uninstalled it and reinstalled Internet Explorer 7 and it works much better. Disabling one of the admin accounts makes that part of the data inaccessable. The Administrator named account cannot be disabled, it says built in. The data is on the drive, just is different admin locations. This was a non-destructive recovery as far as the data was concerned. I can find everything but old emails. Adminstrator Compaq_Administrator Compaq_Administrator\Gregory Hope this answers some of the questions. Accessories - System Restore would not restore to a previous point. PC Tools & Help (I think this is Compaq) would not restore to a previous point. F8 System Restore on Boot Up was the only restore that would restore anything.
  3. After continually hangup when I downloaded Exp8 and my systems restore points didn't change anything, I restored by system in safe mode. I gave the computer a name in the process and it didn't have one previously, thereby creating another administrator. Somehow now I have 3 administrator accounts with different parts of my data in all three. Can you rename the administrators or do anything to consolidate the data under one admin account? Or, do I need to run another restore and not name the computer to straighten out the MESS I have made?
