Hmmmm ok thank you guys very much , I'm going for a copy of windows vista SP1 then install a SP2 manually (ofc without removing any components) I guess I'll need to solve the 4GB ISO problem first :/ (ISO Image over 4GB) Thank you very much
-
Yes I do have waik installed, I'll take a look and see what I can do with it. Ty ========= to aviv00, My HDD is NTFS let me tell u how I do it, first I make an ISO Image from vlite then I Mount the image to a v drive by daemon tools after that I copy all the files from the v drive to a Flash memory if I look inside the v drive I only see 1.5GB but if I check the ISO it tells me its 4.6GB and when I copy the files to a Flash memory it tells me its only 1.5GB so whats the problem ?

Hi every one I was planing on removing some components so I can make an fully up to date with a Drivers and some tweaks and unattended Windows installtion copy If I dont remove components I ended up with a larger than 4GB ISO which vlite dont recomended that, and if I ignore the warning I got a corropt ISO Image that dont even reach 1.5GB if I remove components the SP2 wont installed and I will end up with an Error: ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND(0x80070002) My current Flash memory is 4GB but I can get a larger Flash memory (maybe 16GB) but the problem as I said vlite dont recomend a larger than 4GB ISO Image so what can I do to get a larger than 4GB ISO Image ? Sorry for my bad language, and thank you for reading my problem

Are you refrering to this topic: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=134783 I dont see any topic talks about how to slipstream SP2 , if there is a guide for please give me a link for it in the topic (link above) they mentioned something about downloading an ISO image "Download the ISO image from your MSDN" what do I have to do to get an ISO image from MSDN ? do I have to get a sponser member or there are other things to do ? and lets not go of the topic , so all I need is to install a Windows Vista SP1 withour removing any components and then install a SP2 stand alone ? it will work like that ? Thank you for ur time

Thanks for ur reply I used vlite for a few things, 1- to slipstream SP1. 2- to Intgrate Chipset, VGA, RAID and sound drivers. 3- To minimize the size to less than 4GB to copy the installtion files to a 4GB USB flash memory. 4- to make an unattended Windows installtion. these are the reasons why I used vlite, if u r asking for a full last session copy then there it is : =========================== ; vLite preset file ; ;#Environment: ; vLite v1.2 ; Framework 2.0.50727.1434 ; Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 64-bit ; ;#Target: ; Windows Vista ULTIMATE 64-bit i ; Version 6.0.6001.18000 English (United States) ; vLited with v1.2 (6/16/2009 3:04:10 AM) ; [Compatibility] [CustomHide] [Components] ;# Accessories # Speech Support ;# Drivers # Printers-Apollo Printers-Brother Printers-Canon Printers-Citizen Printers-Dell Printers-Diconix Printers-Epson Printers-Fuji Xerox Printers-Fujitsu Printers-Generic printer Printers-Gestetner Printers-HP Printers-IBM Printers-Infotec Printers-Konica Printers-Konica Minolta Printers-Kyocera Mita Printers-Lanier Printers-Lexmark Printers-Minolta Printers-Minolta-QMS Printers-NEC Printers-NRG Printers-Oce Printers-Oki Printers-Okidata Printers-Olivetti Printers-Panasonic Printers-QMS Printers-Ricoh Printers-Samsung Printers-Savin Printers-Seikosha Printers-Sharp Printers-Sony Printers-Star Printers-Tally Printers-Tektronix Printers-Wipro ePeripherals Printers-Xerox ;# System # Natural Language Tablet PC [Options] DEP (Data Execution Prevention) = Default User Account Control (UAC) = Enabled AntiSpyware Realtime Protection = Default AutoPlay = Enabled Paging Executive = Enabled Power scheme = Balanced Power button = Default Sleep button = Default Hibernation = Default Control Panel - Classic View = Default Show hidden files and folders = No Show protected operating system files = No Show extensions for known file types = No IE Phishing Filter = Default IE Phishing Verification Ballon Tips = Default [services] [Protection] [Drivers] C:\Drivers\15.25_nforce_winvista64_international_whql\Awy\nvAwy64.inf C:\Drivers\15.25_nforce_winvista64_international_whql\Ethernet\nvfd6064.inf C:\Drivers\15.25_nforce_winvista64_international_whql\IDE\WinVista64\sataraid\nvrd64.inf C:\Drivers\15.25_nforce_winvista64_international_whql\IDE\WinVista64\sata_ide\nvstor64.inf C:\Drivers\15.25_nforce_winvista64_international_whql\SMBus\nf4sys.inf C:\Drivers\15.25_nforce_winvista64_international_whql\SMU\smuc64.inf C:\Drivers\185.85_desktop_winvista_64bit_english_whql\nv_disp.inf C:\Drivers\Vista_Win7_R226\Vista64\HDX.inf [unattended] SpecRegional AcceptEULA SkipNewUser SkipAutoActivation NetworkLoc = 1 [Hotfixes] [LanguagePacks] =========================== this is the full last session file, I usauly change some options and some tweaks but in this copy I didnt. please help me get over this problem, the last thing I want to do is to reinstall a fresh Windows from the DVD directly without any SP's intgrated and then install them manully SP1 then SP2, this is a really a very long road, if there are any better ways please tell me . Hi every one glad to be a member of MSFN Forums Im facing a problem with installing a Windows Vista 64bit Service Pack 2 I got Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit Non-Service Pack DVD, I tryed to Slipstream SP1 into it and it was a successful slipstream, I've installed a Fresh Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit SP1 (made by vlite) and every thing went somthly. After the installtion of the Windows I tryed to install a stand alone Service Pack 2 and I got error says: Error: ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND(0x80070002) and here's a SS for the Error: http://aam.1407.googlepages.com/Error_SS.jpg I clicked on the link shown in the SS error (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=122602) and I installed System Update Readiness Tool and restarted my PC after that then tryed to install the SP2 again but still the same error, after that I tryed to install all the Updates that shown on Windows Update (55 updates), after installing all the updates I Checked for another updates but it says "Windows is Up to Date" after that I tryed again to install SP2 and yet I got the same error that shown on the SS, Now I GIVE UP, I dont know what else to do to make the SP2 installed successfully, Please Help Sorry for my bad language, and thank you for reading my problem
