no actually its d:\Vista. I did managed to solve this error somehow. What I did is delete everything in my source folder and copied the vista source files again and then tried to redo the whole process in vlite and it succeeded still not sure though where the problem was. Thanks everyone for your support.

I left it as the default name "VistaLite" and even tried to put just "Vista" only but still same error asking me to rename the [bOOT] folder as above.

It doesn't ask me for location cause once I click "Make ISO" this error pops up. Any advise.

I am trying to create the ISO but keep getting the following error. "Unsupported ISO Name. Please rename this folder to be without the leading '[' char: D:\Vista\[bOOT]" Any advise what I might be doing wrong. Thanks to all. xImran
