  1. Already checked that... Try it with the '/V' or '/Z' verbose switches.
  2. Command Prompt -> 'gpresult' Platform: XP, 2K3
  3. 4 - (9/2) = -.5 5 - (9/2) = .5 when you did the square root you left out 'The square rot of a number is +/-', in this case we have a definite answer for '4 - (9/2)' for which the answer is negative, clearly left out in the proceding equation. Now i got one of me own A = B A^2 = AB A^2 - B^2 = AB - B^2 (A+B)(A-B) = B(A-B) (A+B) = B A+A = A 2A = A 2 = 1
  4. Here's another idea/theory; 'GPO -> Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Scripts -> Startup' Everything run from there is run under the Local SYSTEM account, you can probably put your install script in there.
  5. You can enable the group policy setting @ 'Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Installer -> Always install with elevated priviledges'. You'll also need to do it in 'User Configuration'. But that's a great security risk, also it your installaions are gonna have to be MSI based. Why don't you deploy the software through group policy instead.
  6. I believe this may be what you're looking for.

  9. You can set your system time to the time you would like the shutdown to occur, run 'shutdown -s -t 60', then set your time back. System will shutdown at the first set time + 60 seconds. Or you can add a scheduled task 'shutdown -s'.

  15. This is a nice 'theory', but much of how we react is determined by an attitude that developed at a young age because of the environment arround us. It's a good 'principle' to apply when we're aware of the relevance of our decisions.
  16. In your boot.ini, replace '/noexecute=optin' with '/execute'

Tough I'm not seeing a price estimate, I can tell you that a year ago it was in the $20,000 range

  20. Flashget + Firefox Flashgot Plugin
  21. Winspy, the utility I suggested, has a target icon (Finder Tool) that you can drag around your desktop. When you drop this icon on a control (textbox, command-button etc.) it retrives main information about the control including the process the control belongs to. So you can just drag the 'target' over the spyware bar to retrive it's full process name, via the process tab in winspy. There's also a drop down menu next the process name in winspy that allows you to kill the process. Find the executable you just killed and delete it. hope that helps
  22. Here's is nice utility. Just drag the 'Finder Tool' over the spyware bar, goto the process tab, note the process name, kill it in task manager and delete it.
  23. Been looking for this as well, I haven't found any list yet, but when you start typing a contact's name or email you get combo box functionality.
