well... i got a tower from CompUSA when they closed. It was built as a server with 2 X 250G hdd's, had a Pentium D m/b, DVD DL Writer, massive case with alot of fans, a useless floppy, but nice over all... problem was people scavenged it and took the memory, video card, and processor?!?! i got the whole thing for like $140?!?! went to NewEgg and got a Pentium D 3.0GHz, GeForce 7300GT, 2G RAM, and a DVDROM for all around $400... so for $500 total I got a nice mo-sheen! ran XP x86 on it first. tried a dual boot openSUSE linux setup and it f'ed it up... lot the XP partition?!? when i couldn't restore it, i upgraded to the x64 version... but now only have one problem... my security camera capture card from Digivue is not supported?!?! Anyone know a good place for 3rd party drivers, if there are any for this thing?!?! It's an EDV-XV425 DVR SYSTEM... worked well in XP x86?!?! ciao!
