Been making Vista DVDs all weekend and am obviously doing something seriously wrong
I'm using the newest version of vlite (not the beta or RC, but the proper release) and vista home premium - slipstreaming SP1, integrating no other hotfixes (apart from those already integrated) some drivers and removing a lot of components (using one of the thorough guides on this site). Installing windows works like a charm up to the point that it lets me create a username and all and then goes on to integrate SP1, at Stage 3 and 99% directly, then completes (100%) almost instantly and reboots. Nothing wrong with that.
But then the Stage 3 integration turns up again, finishes, reboots, turns up again, finishes, reboots... you get the idea
Been searching this forums for a solution, but all the threads I've found are quite old, and the problem is apparently believed to be resolved in the new beta, which, in my case at least, it hasn't
The only suggested solution I haven't tried yet is mounting the install.wim and deleting a file within it, do you think that would work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm quite computer-less at the moment :D
edit: I just read everything again and realized I'm a moron. I tried to integrate SP1 and remove the components all in one go
Will try doing it properly now and will post if it keeps going wrong
