  1. I have this fixed. It was the field codes were set wrong. Thanks for all your help!
  2. I have a user who has a document that is split into sections. For each section she wants the pages numbers to show page x of y. For example Section 1 is 20 pages she wants it to show page 1 of 20 page 2 of 20 etc. This is working on screen. When she prints the document and we have had others try as well the page numbers show Page 1 of 1 page 2 of 2 page 3 of 3 and all the way to 20. I don't understand why this will show correctly on screen but not printed. Any ideas??? -- Becky Applications Trainer XP & 2003 Master Instructor

  5. I have been working on a computer (Windows XP & Office XP Professional) and I am having an issue with Just Excel files. He has many files stored in My Documents. If he tries to double click the Excel files, Excel opens but the file will not open. If you right-click the file while in My Documents and choose Open With it gives the error that the file can not be found or it is corrupt. If you Open Excel first and navigate to My Documents then the file will open. I first thought it was the file association. I checked that and restored the default setting for the xls file extension. I tried to repair office. I tried to uninstall Excel and reinstall. Nothing works. Can anyone help me out here.

  7. If anyone can help me I am at the end of my rope! I have two sets of users who are trying to use the delegate feature in Outlook 2002. The delegate is set up on the persons computer with editor permissions. When the other person goes into the other users folder (inbox) and tries to forward a message from the other person folder it gives the following error: You do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the specified user. I have triple checked all settings and they are correct. I did notice that when the error came up it had the title of Microsoft Word. So I disables Word at the default editor in outlook and tried again. I got the same error message but in the title bar it said Microsoft Outlook. I have test the same exact setting on a pair of test laptops and everything works fine. I checked the versions for all comptuers who are having trouble and they are all on Outlook 2002 SP2. ANY help you can give me would be GREAT!! Becky
