I have a little problem: after i install windows xp, cd-rom drives (even virtual cd-roms, if any) dissapear from my computer. This is even more strange because: -it is not windows xp kit related (i used the same kit before and i didn't have such problems) -it is not application related (i installed different applications and with the same result) -it is not unattended related (it happend even with normal xp kit) -it is not system related (same system) Maybe it is about bios, i don't know. I found out that there are more situations like this. I found a registry modification that will fix this, even a small vbs program. But what intrigues me is why is this happening? if you heve any ideea, please post it on this forum. Thanks

Hello all I've succeded in unattended installing the driver for sb live 5.1 (using winnt.sif) but i cannot install surround mixer. without that, i cannot control my soundard, select type of output (5.1, headphones) and others. I've tried even to install surround mixer separatelly (manually) but it won't connect with the driver and return an error. It will only install together with the driver. I've tried to monitor the whole install using wise packer but that won't work. If you have any solution, please tell me

Hello I was wondering if it is possible to install some programs, drivers, etc and RECORD mouse and keyboard activity during install and then applying these activities into the unattended instalation of xp. I think it is more accesible than knowing parameters and install options for many programs.
