Johnhc, many,many thanks that was exactly it. This textmode issue is a bit esoteric - totally understandable once it has been revealed, but after a few hours searching (and I'm pretty useful at problem solving) I did not get this. I will make a suggestion to the nlite team that something on raid and textmode as it now appears to be a generic issue! again, many thanks. garrilla

I'm trying to slipstream the drivers for 3ware 9650SE control in the W2K3 install So far I copied the W2k3 CD and the 3ware CD to my d: drive - "d:/wn2k3 install" and "d:/3ware install" respectively I launch nLite (1.4.9.1) and follow the wizard locating the OS folder (as above) and the driver set (as above) and then I proceed to making an ISO. Once the ISO is made I burn it with Nero. The server I'm trying to install on has had the 4 drives configured into two raid1 sets. I install the CD and let it boot, which it does - everything runs to the point whenere I get to choose 'Install' but it never finds my hard drives - it says "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer" Any advice grarefully recieved.
