oh thanks for your help usbs are fine all working ive tried to do a test page again and have it just queuing with some refreshing showing have to go out but ill unistall and try what youve suggested later today as this seems to be a long process maybe ill look into buying a printer that is compatiable with vista and works 1st time!!!!

have a new aus notebook its working well and have no problems with vista but i cannot get my hp deskjet D2300 to WORK!! i have installed/unistalled been to hp web site and dowloaded new drivers hope ive given all info can anybody help me with this thanks!
