  1. HI - it is a home computer. Date and time are correct - it all started when we got a black out and I had to use the Inbox Repair tool. I did open a shadow copy of Outlook which I suspect is the problem however the error messages opens in the 'activation' window. Date and time are correct. The computer verifies it as correct but due to this problem the reply and new mail functions wont work in Outlook
  2. Hi I am hoping someone can help me. I am totally self taught computer operator. Like most I suppose I learn most of my stuff as a result of my own stuff ups or things 'falling over' and not being able to readily access assistance. That is why I am here. A few days ago we had a couple of black outs and no protection. While overall the computer survived my Microsoft outlook would not open stating there was an error and I needed to use the Repair tool. After days of frustration I discovered that I have 2 lots of Outlook on my computer - found the correct one and managed to repair the inbox. Now I can open, download and read messages but cannot reply. It states that there is a time and date error and I need to reset the time and date. I have done this a number of times - but it keeps persisting. The time and date it offers is the correct one. But even if I change it then change it back no luck.... It also states if I choose not to reset my time and date settings many Microsoft Office system features may be unavailable. It comes up under the 'activation wizard' The version I have came with the computer and has a full month left Any suggestions
