Solved! You have to install SP1 first also make sure that the vLite temporary folder dosen't have any unicode characters like for example in my case "ŁÓŹĆŻŚ" and you'll get a beautiful message "Finished!"

I have the same problem I've installed the latest vLite 1.2 and after applying the service pack 1 (Windows6.0-KB936330-X64-wave1 becouse im from Poland) The same message appers after 45-60 minutes Failed. No changes were saved. Im running on a clean install Vista Home Premium x64 without SP1 in RC 1.2 i diden't have this problem. *edit You know what? I remeber that when i was integrating the SP last time , SP was installed on my system I'll install the SP1 first than try to integrate SP1
