I tried the firewall idea. I'm going to re-d/l it and see if it works. The download links on the new RMXP site are the same ones I've tried 10-6-08 Nope, didn't work. Do you guys have any other ideas?

Okay, I have a hobby and that is designing games. I did a lot of game design for fun on my old POS. When I got my new machine last week, I installed RPG Maker XP (my favorite program) and apparently, I keep getting an error saying "failed to obtain trial serial from the nTitles server". I've re-installed and re-downloaded this thing serveral times already. I swear I'm about to throw this thing across the library atm. Help!
