What a stroke of luck! I came to search about the Network And Sharing Center problem, and there was the answer staring me in the face. Thanks for nudging it back to the, Popcorn. I have a working network again.

Thanks, though the SP1 bit was obvious; what I was really asking was whether I had integrated it with an unaltered version of Vista, but that has also become obvious now.
Brid lad, eh? I lived there for quite a while, a long time ago.

Lots of people looking but no one with an answer. Is this forum mostly populated by us newbies to vLite?
Great program by the way, Nuhi, but you knew that, didn't you?
(Talking to myself again. That's another age thing.)

I was about to make an ISO with full Vista and slipstreamed SP1 to save having to integrate SP1 every time. However, I just found an ISO on the HD with the following ini contained in it. Does this indicate I've already done what I was about to do? (Memory loss, it's an age thing. )

Well i got similar problem, its taking a very long time when slipstreaming Sp1, status bar comes to approximately half and stands there...i can hear my hard disk working and hd status led is blinking and all but vlite status bar is not moving.
I have HOME PREMIUM vista on DVD, i installed it and installed SP1 and all hotfixes, then i installed vLite and i try to extract Vista from DVD and then slipstream SP1 to it.
in Task Manager i can see vLite cpu usage changing from 00 to like 08-10 and using around 22mb of ram...and i also see PkgMgr.exe using up to like 40-50% of RAM and lots of memory.
I don't have any antivirus installed and i disabled firewall...still same thing!
Yeah, the status bar gets to halfway and stays there for ages here, too, then I look away and suddenly it is finished. I think it waits for me to look away. (I don't really sit and watch it.) I've run vLite on the laptop with XP Pro SP2 installed, and with Vista Home Premium installed, and it is exactly the same, with around the time finishing time.

Although I haven't timed it, I'd say it takes around 70/90 minutes on my laptop - 1.6ghz Celeron. 8 hours seems excessively excessive

I've had a similar errors with Removal, but unfortunately it seems the original authors of these Win 7 slimming guides have moved on to better things. They are all sat at their computers using their barebones O/S's, and here we are with our O/S partitions bursting at the seams. Can't fault them, and it serves us right for not being here at the right time. I've gone back to my vLited Vista x64 which is much smaller than my vLited Win 7 Ultimate.
