Like i said in my first post it happens when i close a folder that is on a network drive. I can move the mouse around and start task manger but not anything else. It happens when i close the drive anytime even when i do not transfer any files or do any work on that drive or folder. (just open the folder and close) It don't happen when i am doing work in the drive only when i close the folder. I have to end task for Explorer and start it back up and everything is ok. The problem with explorer not responding when i log off only happens 1 or 2 time a month. Not sure what else to do.

Hello Downloaded process explorer and don't see anything i don't know what it is. Also when i shut down Explorer is a problem and it shows a error screen and ask if i what to wait for it to shut down or close now. Most of the time it closes on it's own. I am not sure whats going on but it is a pain.

Hello This is my first time posting. The problem i am have is this. When i close a folder that is on a network drive my computer locks up. The drive is still connected but i just closed the folder. I have to start task manager and end task on (explorer.exe). The next step is to restart ( explorer.exe) and the computer works fine. This happens about 10 or 12 times a day. It is a real pain. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for your help. Tim
