I recently installed the Thai language pack via Windows Update as an automatic install. I now want to install it onto another computer in my bedroom which I use exclusively as a media center. I have tried to integrate it into vLite but I can't get vLite to recognize any of it as a language pack. Unfortunatelyl Stupidly, I didn't realize that I should have downloaded it as a stand alone package and I don't want to do another download of this 145MB pack because I can't get a decent dial-up network speed (4kBps is tops) - it will take forever. I've checked that there isn't a .cab or .exe file in the Software Distribution folder - all the relevant files seem to be in a container on the path C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\ - the relevant file is called 093966d97ea4d646013b97a242c2d5f854d6fa53 (this file has no extension but if opened in winRAR it contains all the language files). Is there any way I can transfer the data from this file to my other PC which has virtually identical components and is running the same installation of Vista either directly or by making an install disk with vLite ? Failing that, can anyone think of a way of moving the Thai .MUI files for Vista Media Center only so that my wife can understand the interface and stop calling me every time she wants to change TV channels or play a movie? Thanks in advance for any forthcoming advice.
