That could be it too. I noticed right after finishing up that my anti-virus fire wall were not engaged in safe mode.

I uninstalled/reinstalled still no luck. But .... I rebooted into Safe mode (with networking) And ... It seems to have worked. We'll see when I try to actually install XP onto my HP Laptop if: a - the slipstreamed disc is okay and works as intended; and, b - there are no proprietary roadblocks thrown up by HP to dissuade one from overwriting their bloated version of Windows XP with a retail version.

I am having the same problem, and I have NET 2.0 SP1 installed. N-Lite seems to be fine combining SP3 with an SP2 disc when that is all that I do. It encounters the problem when I try to add drivers and other things. I need to add SATA drivers as a minimum since I do not have any floppy drives (anymore) Error message is identifying this dll (msvcr90.dll). I am running 1.4.6. What could it be? Thanks
