Hello there I'm a newbie in using nLite or anything related to unattended Windows/Slipstreaming for that matter. Up till now I've been using custom unattended XP versions created by other people but they dont have all the items I want. So I thought "Hey, why not create my own?". And as I went on my path of creating my own unattended install I ran into some problems. Everyone here seems to know their stuff very well, so please excuse me if my questions are stupid. Firstly, how do I get all the updates on to my computer? Downloading them one-by-one is very inconvenient, so there must be another way to do it. I tried Windows Update Downloader, but a get the following error: Not a valid calendar for the given culture Parameter name:value. This happens with .NET framework 3.0 installed. I'd like to know if there is any other way to download all the updates in one go and integrate them with nLite. Secondly, I have a SATA hardrive. Do I need to install some sort of SATA driver before installing XP? Sounds like a stupid question but since I've always installed custom versions, which perhaps they come with the driver installed, I dont really know. Lastly, how do I create custom silent installers for my favorite applications? I came across a how-to for creating an addon, but none to tell me how to create a silent installer that I can intergrate into nLite. Sorry if any of my questions are dumb. -Poke386
