  1. I have a problem with my unattended insstallation using a RAID 0 configuration. When I start the original Windows XP Pro CD I insert the diskette with the RAID controller's drivers and choose the RAID driver. When it starts Windows setup I get the license screen and press F8. Then I can choose what drive I want to use. Here I can select the RAID 0 configuration which is 157000 Megabytes large. After that I can choose to make a partition on which I want to install Windows too. Now, in my unattended txt file I specified that I want to choose the partition my self. So I can add or remove a partition. This works fine, but I am missing the screen before the partitioning screen where I can select the RAID 0 configuration. Instead I see my individual drives though it doesn't really work like two drives. Is there a line I can add to winnt.sif so I can get the other screen too? Btw: I create a new RAID 0 configuration in the RAID controller and then start my unattended installation CD. If any extra info is needed, please ask me and I will try to provide it.
  2. Maybe a bad description, but I was wondering if the guides on integrating SATA RAID drivers in the Windows XP installation are useable for the non-RAID drivers too. I have not seen a single thread talking about this. Only the SATA RAID drivers.
  3. Sorry! After reading a bit furhter on this I found out I need to delete the svcpack.in_ file and replace it with svcpack.inf.
  4. I am following the Unattended XP CD guide and on this there is an example of scvpack.inf, but in \i386\ there is only svcpack.in_. So what do I do? Unpack svcpack.in_, edit the extracted file and repack it or do I just extract svcpack.in_ and leave it that way after I have edited it? I tried searching for svcpack.inf and svcpack.in_ but since these words are so common it wasn't doable to look through every thread. Sorry!
