Greetings to all I am looking at completely wiping vista and installing xp home on my laptop (Compaq Presario C700). I have recently purchased this laptop so everything came pre-installed with no discs. From what I understand I just have to boot from my old xp disk and format the hard drive and then follow prompts from there. I have heard that I need to check that XP drivers are available for all my hardware before doing this. What exactly does this mean? Is there any information I seem to be missing before I wipe it all?
