  1. Does anyone know of a command line tool that will apply a reg file to the default user registry hive?
  2. I am trying to apply some hkey_current_user registry patches during the t-12min time. These patches work perfectly work windows xp but when ported to windows 2000 they don't get applied to the default user profile like in xp. They keys are correct (checked this out first) but just don't seem to get applied. Any clues???
  3. I have successfully created a XP unattended install and am trying to port it over to 2k. So far everything except a few drivers and security patches has moved over with little problem except for the autologon. In XP I was able to get it to autologon 1 time with an admin account on my domain but using the same code and everything with 2k doesn't work. I remotely checked the registry for the logon key and it either doesn't apply it or is defaulted back to administrator and no autologon. If code is needed i can show it but is it standard to what everyone here is using and it worked for XP. ....Any clues??? Thanks
  4. WinPE and a network distribution via an unattend batch file....
  5. The T12 time is after a computer is added to a domain so some funky computer name will be added and then changed when the util is ran. That would mess up my AD big time....I will give it a shot though...
  6. I am not sure if it is possible but can I somehow get the unattend file to grab a computername from a file or place other then in the file itself? I am tring to make a script that will ask a few questions then do a total unattended install. At the moment the install stops to ask for the computername but if it could look in a set directory for a file that I have set before initiatiing the install that would be great. I am using a winPE disk and doing the install from a network share. Any help would be great....thanks
