Hi there, so I have successfully created my nLite'd WXPSP3 v3264 and have it really heavily plucked. I have no need for greedy services, networking stuff (this install doesn't go on the net/network) and a few more things, so they got fired. Incl. I.E. (but having the engine kept, otherwise the mmc wouldn't work) Now I have the problem that html help doesn't work, meaning I can't easily read .hlp or .chm files. I have Firefox 2 installed on this machine as I make heavy use of a plugin called 'Scapbook', and my PC dual boots into linux for internet/network and office stuff. In fact my WXP is used for DAW and Media work, and I share some files & folders between WXP and linux. The 'Scrapbook' plugin being one of them for offline reading of stuff I collect. So how do I go about getting html help back to work? I do have a temporary fix by having installed a FF plugin for .chm files. But it's a pain, since I first have to open FF, then browse to the help file to read it, instead of simply clicking the file or calling it from within it's associated app. As for .hlp files, I don't know how to solve this one. I've tried an app called 'Help Explorer', but it's just the same pain. When you doubleclick a help file, the app opens, but with an empty GUI, so you have to browse to the file once again to actually read it. If anyone has a solution to this problem, it would be cool to share it with me. TIA Raphael
