  1. Hi John, I share the same view with you that I have a lot of updates. However all these are listed as high priority updates in the automatic windows update, so I just installed them accordingly. Still very much a noobie to slipstreaming post sp2 updates, am ok with slipstreaming service packs though. Thanks for being patient with me all this while.

  3. Thanks for the link, mara =) A bit off-topic, but concerned: Since doing this violates the EULA, what are the likely consequences (legal or otherwise) for those who do change the msi manually and slipstream their office? Will we be prevented from downloading future ms office updates from its official website?
  4. Erms, I think I'm using windows home 32bit. So as to the file names of the updates I used, meaning you want the whole list of updates history of my pc from windows update? I'm quite a newbie to slipstreaming, so please bear with me. =)
  5. I see. I totally didn't know and/or understand all these as I got it from a notebook retailer. I also didn't know that even it's stated Enterprise edition on the disc itself, being academic VL and retail/oem actually means it won't allow admin installation points. Thanks for letting me know. =) So to conclude, I just have to give up on slipstreaming for Office 2003, right?
  6. KB923980- Security Update for Windows Xp, KB942 763- Update for Windows Xp, KB948 881-security update for activeX killbits for windows xp.I think I have XP 32 bits versions of all updates except for for particular update which is processor-specific. I forgot which one, but i chose the one that caters to amd64 and not x86. I'm using AMD 64 3200+.
  7. According to what the latest slipstreamer says about my Office 2003 Professional It's indeed an Enterprise version. But trying to create an admin point gives an error msg that says it's not enterprise. Details extracted from slipstreamer's interface: Ms Office Professional Enterprise Edition 2003 Version v11.0.5614.0 Edition type: Retail/OEM What seems to be the problem here? In addition, is there a guide for newbies like me to use the slipstreamer?
  8. Hi, I'm rather new to nlite. I'm using 1.4.5 b2 and have installed latest dotnet 3.5. I encountered the same message for a few updates/hotfixes while integrating: KB923 980, KB942 763, KB948 881 The message is as follows: "Direct integration not supported"...file not present in ISO to be updated...Pls report if this is unexpected.. Do you want to use regular integration...?" I have not yet included IE7 and its related updates for integration. I'm using clean source Win XP SP2. Please help. =)
