I have three users who, when opening emails saved as attachments in tasks in Outlook 2003, receive the error "The Operation Failed". When the users open the attachments for the first time after opening Outlook, the attachments open fine. Every time after that, the error appears. If the users close out of Outlook and reopen, they can open the attachments the first time, again, but every time after that fails until Outlook is closed and reopened. I have tried clearing the .olk files as well as renaming the .ost/.pst and extend.dat files with no success. I have created a new email account and that did not work, as well. Upon logging on to the machines as myself, I can open the files numerous times with no problems. It is not a permissions issue as nothing has changed in the users' permissions and they used to be able to open the attachments. Also, one of the users is now getting the error "The Operation Failed. An object could not be found" on all attachments of any email. Any suggestions? Please help.
