I had this same issue earlier today. So annoying. Do this: Go to http://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html then download the .msi file they give you. Run that. It worked for me. If the page ever gets taken down, just google "install flash player" and look for another site. Hopefully there'll be one. (P.S.: I don't know what browser you're using, but for what it's worth I'm on IE 6.0.2900.) (P.P.S.: I didn't have any problems installing Flash on Firefox 1.0.7, which seems to have a better installation process and/or installer program.) (P.P.S.: Adobe's website suggests either downloading their executable installer (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19166) or using "SubInACL" from Microsoft to change the registry (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=fb1634cb). But guess what? Their installer gave me an error and a reference back to the original webpage. As for the "SubInACL" solution, I didn't want to mess with my registry, especially for a solution that might not work.) Best of luck, InOutEtc
