I tested the same disk image and hotfixes on a different machine and they work just fine. This makes me inclined to believe that the problem has something to do with the nlite configuration I used on the currently installed os. Is it possible I removed some windows components nlite uses which is causing the crashes? I've attached the ini file of the current nlited os. Any ideas? Thanks LAST_SESSION.INI

Hi everyone. I'm having a problem where when I try to install hotfixes nlite crashes during the extracting process without any error message or anything. I've tested this with a few different hotfix packages including xable's feb xp2 update pack. It also crashes on some offical ms packages too. I've tried it on both a pre-integrated sp2 image as well as a fresh untampered with copy of xp. I have checked the file hashes and they seem ok. After nlite crashes, it leaves behind a 'rvmtmp' folder that seems to contain the extracted files. The thing that puzzles me most is that a few weeks ago I used the very same cd image and hotfix files with the same version of nlite and encountered no problems. The only thing that has changed is that now I am trying to use nlite from the nlited os that I created a few weeks ago. Is it possible that I removed some components that cause this new problem? As soon as I can, I'm going to try using the same files on a different computer and see if it still crashes. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! Last_Session.ini
