Hi all, I've been trying to install XP on a Fujitsu t2010 tablet. Originally, it came with a restore disk that wipes the drive as it restores the OS. I have a new retail copy of Windows, but after it loads drivers and goes to "Setup is starting Windows", a Stop 7B error pops up. I tried to boot off of an XP disk from an old desktop, and it worked fine, but couldn't see the SATA drive. Then, I tried booting off of a pirated XP disk I downloaded that was supposed to have all the latest drivers, and it installed just fine! But I can't update it, install WMP 11, etc. since it's a pirate copy. My goal now is to figure out how to combine the working parts of the pirate disk with the legit disks to get a legit installation going. So far, I tried installing the recovery disk on a spare hard drive and copy the c:\windows\i386\ directory over the \i386\ of the pirate disk. No dice, Stop 7B again. I'm at a loss. Clearly I seem to have all the components needed to make this work, but I can't figure out how to. Please help.
