SATA VT8283 Slipstream did ot work in nLite Posted February 18, 2008 My Biostar K8VHA Pro (ver 1.1) MB with integrated SATA VT8283 version 2.01 controller would not recognize the VIA RAID driver on floppy, after pressing F6, during an XP Pro install attempt. (Using TWO Seagate 500Gig 16MB cache SATA hard drives)I created a couple different ISOs (one unattended) and one with just the SATA VT8283 controller driver.I am pretty sure that I did the procedure right. I had no errors during its creation, using nLite. The SATA VT8283 controller is STILL NOT being recognized using the slipstream CD.Finally, I just installed a slower Si3122 PCI controller & was able to install XP with the same CD without a hitch... I would have preferred to have used the on-board VIA controller.ANYBODY ELSE WITH THE SAME EXPERIENCE!email me at: technicals1 AT email DOT com Probably spent a hundred hours in the last 2months.Frustrated beyond belief...at my wits end... 0
