We have a custom ribbon/tabs that are working great in Word 2007. However, when users add a button from the custom ribbon to the quick access toolbar (QAT), it will not save. It works correctly, but if you close word and repopen, it is no longer on the quick access menu. Researching, here is what I've found: - I can see the Word.qat file being updated with the new customization when I customize, but when I close Word, it is updated again and the button is no longer there. Note that I am selecting the 'All documents' option to save the customization. - If I select an Office menu command that we've overridden in our dotm (like Open), the QAT customization is saved appropriately. - Any other Word menu command will save to the QAT appropriately. - The exact same scenario that is not working in Word works correctly in Excel, with a similar custom ribbon. Anyone have any ideas?
