I'm sorry to all of the RTFM peeps and UTFS peeps out there but I've been trying to be good and have come up with nadda. Cripes, maybe I just really SUCK at searching ??? BTW, a little about myself: I'm a self taught user/tweaker/modder. I'm new to these forums. I can make a working unattended install disk with no problems. I'm nLite capable ryanVM's programs capable. Slowly getting better at making unattended disks "the right way". Any other questions about me can be either posted or pm'd to me. If this thread is successful I hope to compile it into a guide and hopefully have it accepted by the MSFN gawdz for stickyness/frontpage inclusion. No not for "internet fame" but for people who would want to do exactly what it is I'm trying to do here. Here's what I'd like to accomplish/have also what I have at hand: What I have A Windows XP SP2 Disk Drivers specific to each boxen I own What I'd Like To Accomplish A generic, uberly slimmed down XP unattended install disk. I mean bare bones people. Think TinyXP but maybe slightly better (although it is quite good on it's own already and its' creation must've been quite a feat) This disk would have all updates (ofcourse) All superfluous drivers STRIPPED and moved to a separate disk. So, if i do ever turn on something that needs driver install I can just plop the cd in and be on my merry way. What I Need A list of drivers on the disk that for the most part are there for plug n' play type OS reaction when someone plugs in a new piece of hardware Recommendations on free software to create "software installation disks". In essence a 2nd disk w/ a bunch of software on it. When plopped in the drive a menu pops up and the person is asked which software they'd like to install. Well, I guess that's it. Hopefully there are kind souls out there that are willing to help me out with this project? Thanks for reading
