  1. This get’s me puzzled, why don’t you install SP3 on your office PC?Is it blocked by an administrator? Any other reason? I have no administrator rights so there is nothing I can do as far as any installing is concern. But the issue of SP3 is no longer essential as I read this solutions dosen't work. I found some temporary wokraround which is suprisingly trival - I enabled refreshing pivot option on openning workbook in every pivot and so far this works fine, which means my pivots still exits
  2. I have following problem when openning some XL workbooks containg Pivot Tables: "Unable to read file" and then error mesages: "Errors were detected in 'filename.xls', but Microsoft Excel was able to open the file by making the repairs listed below. Save the file to make these repairs permanent. PivotTable report 'report_name' on '[filename.xls]worksheet_name' was discarded due to integrity problems." This issue is describied in on MS Support site (Article ID: 819853) and the solution is provided with SP3. But the problem is that I have SP2 and I must not install SP3 as it is my office comp. That's why I need to resolve this some other way, but I have no idea how. The "Workaround" proposed on mentioned site doesn't work. Can anybody help me?!!! PLEASE!!! Cheers!!!
