Hey Ponch sorry man, I'm gratefull for all the replies.....seriously
When I qouted your message I really meant that the desktop doesn't get internet when I set the gateway to 192.168.0.1
If ICS doesn't work can my desktop get internet someway else?

ICS cannot share a wireless connection, only wired.
What if you set the desktop's gateway to 192.168.0.1 ?

This is my scenario;
I have my desktop pc and it connects to my laptop via a cable(p2p-connection). My laptop connects to the internet via wireles network.
How can I configure my network so my desktop pc can get internet via my laptop??
Laptop & Desktop pc uses WinXp OS
Laptop
WIFI:
Assigned by DHCP
Ip address: 192.168.1.100
subnet mask:255.255.255.0
gateway:192.168.1.1
LAN:
Ip address: 192.168.0.1
subnet mask:255.255.255.0
Desktop pc
LAN:
Ip address: 192.168.0.2
subnet mask:255.255.255.0
