I pretty much have all the information I need from the forum but I want to clarify if the path I am going down is right. If I make a slipstreamed Dell OEM CD (all our machines are Dell with OEM OS) - using Bezalel's method for a Pre-Activated Install - and with all the Driverpacks - then install Windows and configure it - run sysprep - then ghost the machine to a ghost image - then deploy the image to multiple hardware configurations using PXE boot/Ghost Multicasting. The part I am confused on is the hardware drivers for different hardware configs. Are all the driverpacks loaded from the CD to the machine so when Windows rediscovers devices it will be able to use the drivers from the driverpacks? Also does anyone know if this will also work for Windows 2000 - using the driverpacks?
