Normally I look an windows-update to see if an update is important or optional. I think I've made an error when adding this update to the list.

Checked KB2345886 in Muppet Hunter's update list --> listed as advisory, not critical update.

On a freshly installed WinXP, MU offers KB2345886 and KB982214 as an important update. But when installing only KB2345886, after next reboot KB982214 not offered by MU. (That's right, 2345886 replaces 982214)

So why 2345886 is an optional update? (If i'm right, in the filechecker KB2345886 must be a security update) FIXME, if i'm wrong

sorry for the KB905474 report, i didn't know that HFSLIP accepts these format of 905474 (tested and working):

WindowsXP-KB905474-HUN-x86.exe, i've always used this format: WindowsXP-KB905474-x86-HUN.exe

Other:

KB976098-v2 (TZ update) in HF folder is installed perfectly, not needed to be in the SW1 folder

Checking existing updates for wrong, obsolete or unknown:

Check missing updates for Windows XP SP3:

Mimo, i have a problem with hfslipfc.

KB905474 still in my HF folder, but hfslipfc reports as missing update for WU.

Missing:

WindowsXP-KB905474-HUN-x86.exe

HF:

WindowsXP-KB905474-x86-HUN.exe

Can you change !lang! and x86 ?

[Windows Installer problem]

Hi all! I have a problem with the Windows Installer. I have integrated the KB893803 (windows installer v2) update to my unattended windows cd.

The problem:

This window appears at T-13 and the installation is not continue, only if i press the "Ok" button.

The installer uses /Q /O /N /Z switches in svcpack.inf

Anyone know - why appears this window at T-13?

Hi Everyone!

I had a little problem with unattended winxp sp2 pro installation. I'm downloaded the hotfixes from microsoft, integrated into the WINXP SP2 Pro CD with SVCPACK.INF method, and tested the CD in WMWare. After installation, windows xp starts with the Classic Windows theme, not with the default theme.

Anybody knows Why?
