  1. In Nlite: in the components section do not remove OOBE, then in the Unattended section, General tab check the "skip OOBE" box
  2. Thanks. I'm afraid there is indeed no other solution.
  3. Hi, from time to time, like all of us I suppose, I reformat my C: drive and I have all my data (Docs & Settings) on D: drive. The problem I have is when re-creating my user account (ex. JC) it creates a new instance JC.ComputerName (and others like Administrator.ComputerName etc). Is there a way to avoid that?
  4. It seems I found the problem, keep the OOBE component but skip it.
  5. Hi, first thanks for all the work and help done here. I'm using Nlite and VMware for a couple of years now, so not a totaly newbie but I'm running in a problem. I have a XP Pro source iso that install ok (manually) on Ms Virtual PC and at the point where XP launches and asks for validation, I indicate ' later' to the prompt. When I'm Nliting it, it goes all ok to the point where Windows launches and there I get the message: A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer: Error Code 0x80004005 What am I doing wrong?
