sysoc.inf inside sysoc.in_ is normal, leave it there.

So you had amd64\sysoc.in_ AND amd64\sysoc.inf ?

I don't understand that "personalized" line, does that mean that deleting sysoc.inf didn't help?

But be sure to do it before nLite. So you copy your CD to some new folder, go and delete duplicate sysoc, then run nlite on that folder. It should help, if there was double file.

Maybe now there is some other error that appears first?

Well,

1) I have only amd64\sysoc.in_ (there isn't amd64\sysoc.inf)

2) Then, when I apply the modifications to the CD Win XP-Pro-64 without SP2 (of a my friend) n-lite I work well, when instead I apply the same modifications to the CD XP-Pro-64 with SP2 n-lite gives me the errors already discuss over. But if I try to apply again the modifications to the files already deal (with errors) I find the modifications applied in the files.

3) Probably my CD with SP2 cannot be modified.

It does work with 64bit sofware, I did try your preset with xp x64 sp2 and it worked. Don't you think more people would report that if it's not something special in your situation.

Well I have personalized the copy of CD XP SP2 64 with same error.... but when I re-personalize the same copy I found only any modified parameters.

I tried it (with Italian translation) and it didn't fail.

Is your path with ANSI characters only?

Meaning do you keep Windows Installation files extracted into some simple folder like:

D:\XPCD

or it has some unusual characters in the path?

Please try it in some simple path if you didn't. Also an antivirus which scans all files, try to disable or set to scan executables only.

And reinstall nLite, first delete all the root files (you don't have to delete presets) and reinstall.

I tried n-lite with XP-PRO SP2 (32-bit) and work very fine.

I have here masked the IP address and DNSsever but in n-lite I insert the right number. I don't post the last session_u because there are private data.

Since you said SP2 then SP2.cab must be there. Also don't test after nlite, test before it.

I have re-extract again the files from original CD and I have found the SP2.cab. I have tested all .cab files and they are without error. I now tray again to compile with a new session of n-lite and I hope it works.

I have tested the Driver.cab and Driver_32.cab files and are good (without error), but I haven't find the SP1 and SP2.cab files. Perhaps they are alreadyi ntegrated in the installation files!

PS: I make this operation on a PC with XP-Pro (32bit) installed.

No it's not normal. Try to recopy that CD to some new folder on the hdd and retry nLite on it.

But also check the amd64\Driver.cab, SP1.cab and SP2.cab with Winrar - Test to see if they are corrupted.

Hi,

When I try to personalize some options of installation of Win XP 64bit with SP2 (install with Key, ecc.) or to remove some language or keyboard that is not necessary to me, the n-lite 1.4.1 argument following errors during the compilation:

1) "CabLib Extract Error while exctracting files form cabinet: Corrupt cabinet" - more times

2) "Non existant INF section - [components]

tweak skipped: nlite = ocgen.dll,OcEntry,nlite.inf,Hide,7" - one time

It's normal?
