If that involves renaming all the .pip files, I did not do that. No Office application will run for this user, so I thought the problem would be more global. I could try this if you really think they might all be corrupted or something like that.

1 of 4 users on an XP Pro workstation is unable to run any Office 2007 application; he gets an "insufficient memory or disk space" error. however, the other 3 users have no problems whatsoever. I have looked for memory hogs when the problem user is logged on, but nothing is obvious to me. Can anyone offer thoughts on what might be causing this? Regards, John
