  1. I installed all of the updates up until August 2007 using AutoPatcher on my Virtual PC Windows XP and vLite still works fine. I don't know how to reproduce this error. It's nice that I can finally make my slimmed Vista iso but it's not convenient to have to do it through Virtual PC.
  2. I don't want to have 180mb of wallpapers but I don't want to have to deal with the mistake of clicking on these invisible boxes. It would be nice if I could remove all but the default wallpaper or even choose my own.
  3. I get this error no matter what I try to do to fix it. I read what other people on the forum have done to eliminate this error but none of these methods work in my case. I tried setting disabling read-only on the folder and all sub-folders of the cd files (copied to my hard drive first), I tried changing the temp directory/resetting to default, I tried rebooting (many times), and deleting the two files in the system32/drivers folder. My computer has last updated with the Autopatcher up through June. I installed XP vanilla as a Virtual PC, installed SP2, and .NET 3.0. I copied the same cd folder I used and the same vlite folder and everything works fine. I'll make a copy of this Virtual PC image and see if installing windows updates breaks it.
