Just built a new computer and got it all up and running and got through POST and into the BIOS and see that all my stuff is recognized and looking good. Go to install windows xp and can't get it to work. Keep getting what seems to be random errors. Got one saying PERC2.SYS was corrupted. Another one about \AMD64\ntkrnlmp.exe is missing error code is 7. Couple other random ones I can't remember. I am installing off an Authentic Microsoft DVD and it isn't jacked up or anything. A couple of the errors seemed to mention memory addresses so I tried swapping out the memory. Didn't do any better. Maybe I need to f6 and install my drivers for my board before windows install? no idea.....losing my mind as I have been going at this for over a day.
