Has anyone run into a problem trying to view thumbnails of flv files? Typically I put flv files in the same directory as the original media it was converted from (mpg, avi etc.). Every time I scroll through those directories, Explorer crashes then restarts. I know the problem is associated with the flv's because if I go into the directory through a DOS window, and rename all the .flv extensions to .vlf then I can scroll through the directory without Explorer dropping dead. Here are the dumps I get in Event Viewer: Faulting application Explorer.EXE, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549b091, faulting module FLVSplitter.ax, version 1.0.0.2, time stamp 0x46dc1435, exception code 0xc000000d, fault offset 0x0001c6f2, process id 0xebc, application start time 0x01c7f1a34d14e0af. ----------- Fault bucket 56008863, type 5 Event Name: BEX Response: None Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: Explorer.EXE P2: 6.0.6000.16386 P3: 4549b091 P4: FLVSplitter.ax P5: 1.0.0.2 P6: 45edac71 P7: 000252c2 P8: c000000d P9: 00000000 P10: ------------ Version=1 EventType=BEX EventTime=128336798005991195 ReportType=2 Consent=1 UploadTime=128336798016586220 Response.BucketId=56008863 Response.BucketTable=5 Response.type=4 Sig[0].Name=Application Name Sig[0].Value=Explorer.EXE Sig[1].Name=Application Version Sig[1].Value=6.0.6000.16386 Sig[2].Name=Application Timestamp Sig[2].Value=4549b091 Sig[3].Name=Fault Module Name Sig[3].Value=FLVSplitter.ax Sig[4].Name=Fault Module Version Sig[4].Value=1.0.0.2 Sig[5].Name=Fault Module Timestamp Sig[5].Value=45edac71 Sig[6].Name=Exception Offset Sig[6].Value=000252c2 Sig[7].Name=Exception Code Sig[7].Value=c000000d Sig[8].Name=Exception Data Sig[8].Value=00000000 DynamicSig[1].Name=OS Version DynamicSig[1].Value=6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3 DynamicSig[2].Name=Locale ID DynamicSig[2].Value=1033 DynamicSig[22].Name=Additional Information 1 DynamicSig[22].Value=9e6d DynamicSig[23].Name=Additional Information 2 DynamicSig[23].Value=e4ee1507257f3e497243003f5b7d5db3 DynamicSig[24].Name=Additional Information 3 DynamicSig[24].Value=a82a DynamicSig[25].Name=Additional Information 4 DynamicSig[25].Value=489db488667c953f609cba709692eb02 UI[2]=C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE UI[3]=Windows Explorer has stopped working UI[4]=Windows can check online for a solution to the problem and try to restart the program.
