The same way you do in regular mode - safe mode with networking should work the same in this regard. If you try it and it works, let us know.
You mean the normal safe mode of windows. I thought yo mean something special.
However, I found out the reason for this strange error. It was my Kaspersky 7 which caused this strange problem. Pretty unbeliebable, but Kaspersky was filtering this folder and files because of the integrated Adblocker. No warning from Kaspersky... nothing. Only the error from Vista explorer.
I don't know why Kaspersky blocks specific files which I copy from my computer to another computer. The WebDAV client had all permissions in the firewall. The files were located in a folder named "banner". So Kaspersky decided to block the whole copy and blocked the windows copy process. Pretty unbelievable!

That's actually a Win32 error for "Invalid Argument". Have you tried copying the files in safe mode w/ networking?
Hi cluberti,
thanks for replying!
How do I copy files in safe mode?

Hi,
I'm using WebDAV to copy files over the network. In the last days I have copied several thousand files with WebDAV and Vista. But now I have a problem. I can't copy a file folder with Vista. Windows Vista Explorer returns error 0x80070057.
In this folder are 8 files (different sizes and file types). I tried to copy the files and then to move it to the network. I also tried to zip them and unzip them on the remote host. It was possible to move the zip package, but when I tried to unzip the files it failed again with the same error.
There are some other files which are not movable. It is very bogus. The files are different. Different types, different sizes and different creation dates. All files are writeable and all files are not protected by UAC. I don't know what the problem is. It is a very strange bug. The bug is present in every WebDAV client I used. It must be a problem with Windows Vista.

Forget Paragon 8.5. This program cannot handle Vista partitions! There are several threads on the official forum about people who destroyed their windows partition while resizing the disk.

Vista partition resizing + paragon partition manager
in Windows Vista

I had a discussion with the official Paragon support team. Paragon 8.5 can not handle Vista partitions correctly. This is a fact! There were several threads about this issue in the official paragon support forum on http://forum.paragon.ag/customer/ with people crashed their vista partition. The support team told me that this will be fixed in the end of august and that the upcoming version will be 100% Vista compatible.
You are a lucky man. Paragon could have crashed your whole partition!
