did that, and the message came up. "Could not start Help and Support service on local computer. Error 126: The Specified module could not be found" is there anything else i can do.?????

I really don't know. i tried reloading xp from the disc but it told me it was an older version so i couldn't do anything with it. windows cannot open help and support because a system service is not running to fix this problem, start the service named "Help and Support". I really don't understand what this means so any help you can give me i would be grateful. thanks.

The Help and Support link is not working from the Start menu. Is there a way I can fix this?
