We have recently upgraded from Outlook 2000 over NT to Outlook 2003 over XP Professional. Since the change we are told that Outlook now preloads every e-mail along with any attachment. The result is that our remote users click on an email and if there is an attachment then that has to d/load it before the email can be read. Is there a way of setting up Outlook so that it responds in the same way as Outlook 2000 in as much that the e-mail text can be read and the attachment only downloaded if double clicked. This is causing our remote users long delays (even on broadband) and if they have the preview pane on they cant even move down through the e-mail list in the inbox without Outlook trying to download every attachment as they go.
