  1. Hi, I took a closer look at the boot list in my BIOS, and near the bottom, I found an entry for "TS-xxxxCD/D" which I realized is actually the SATA dvd drive. I had previously used the "SATA DVD" option for this. Anyway, now when I boot up, it finds the DVD correctly. Guess it's just a dumb user error. Sorry to think nlite may have caused this. It really is a great tool and worked perfectly. Thanks, Andrew
  2. Hello, I recently assembled my new computer and used nlite to slipstream the SATA drivers. It worked fine. But I'm trying to install Linux on my system too and I notice that I can no longer boot into cd, even the original nlite cd I made! I've also tried the linux live cds too. On my laptop, I can boot into the linux cds so I know that's not the issue. I looked at the boot order in the BIOS, it's set to SATA dvd first, and Hard Drive second. I even tried disabling the hard drive in the boot order so there's only the DVD drive, but it still won't boot into it. I just get the error "Insert System disk. Boot failure". I'm using the Abit IP35 Pro mobo btw. It just seems really strange that I can't boot into cd anymore. My nlite slipstream was very simple. I had an old XP pro (no service pack) and I just added the SATA drivers, that's it. Could nlite somehow have messed with the BIOS, to cause this problem? I doubt it, but I can't think of another reason. Does anyone have any ideas? thanks, andrew
